🚗About Role
We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our team. This role is the heartbeat of the service department—connecting customers with technicians, ensuring clear communication, and delivering an exceptional service experience from start to finish.
🔧Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns to accurately document vehicle issues
- Write repair orders and communicate clearly with technicians
- Provide repair estimates, explain recommended services, and gain customer approval
- Maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up calls and updates
- Coordinate scheduling, parts ordering, and workflow to keep the shop running smoothly
- Ensure all work is documented accurately and closed out properly
- Promote additional services based on vehicle needs
- Maintain service records
🧰Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Writer, Advisor, or in a customer facing automotive role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly way
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with shop management software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
