🚗Position Overview
Coyner Springs Service Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. We are locally owned, community-focused repair shop known for honest work, clear communication, and high-quality service. The ideal candidate is experienced, motivated, and able to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles with accuracy and professionalism.

🔧Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics on cars, light trucks, and SUVs using modern scan tools and traditional troubleshooting methods.
- Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, electrical issues, drivability concerns, and general maintenance.
- Conduct routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and safety inspections.
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately for shop records and customer communication.
- Communicate effectively with the shop manager and customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow shop safety procedures at all times.
- Operate shop equipment including lifts, tire machines, alignment tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Identify additional repair needs and provide honest, professional recommendations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment built on respect, reliability, and pride in workmanship.
🧰Requirements
- Minimum 2 years automotive repair experience (more experience preferred).
- Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with modern vehicle systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Own basic hand tools; specialty tools provided by the shop.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
- Diesel or heavy-duty experience is a plus, but not required.
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
